  I've been going to Bernie's Auto for 14+ years for everything from oil changes and tires to a complete engine replacement. (I'm not sure who Bernie is... Bill Spradlin is the owner). He's the one of the most honest mechanics I've ever come across. How many shops will call when your car is ready and tell you "turns out the repair was $90 LESS than I estimated"? Seriously. He doesn't hard-sell you on ANYTHING. I've never waited more than ONE DAY for a repair unless he couldn't get a part right away and that's only happened once. I only live about 3 miles away but it would be worth an hour drive to not get hassled by chain stores or shady mechanics. (same review I posted on Yelp).
